Winter is a special time in the White Mountains, and one that brings with it a great number of fun and exciting things to do! Twin Mountain-Bretton Woods is central to virtually all of the winter sports and activities that await you in northern New England. Downhill Skiing

Within 4 miles to N.H.'s most well-known ski resorts Bretton Woods, 9 miles to Cannon Mountain, 20 minutes to Attitash and Loon Mountain…New Hampshire boasts some of the finest skiing and snowboarding in the Northeast, and Twin Mountain-Bretton Woods is just a short drive away from some of the most famous slopes that the White Mountains have to offer!
Special midweek rates are available at most ski areas, and a great variety of lodging options makes it easy to book a winter vacation or weekend trip to the mountains.

 Cross Country Skiing

Miles of trails & terrain for beginners & experts alike await...
The beautiful and majestic White Mountains offer hundreds of miles of groomed and backcountry Nordic skiing trails, and Twin Mountain-Bretton Woods is central to it all!
The season usually begins sometime before the end of December and can often extend well into April, depending on conditions and snowfall. Rentals are offered at a number of area shops and resorts, and lessons for cross-country skiers of all levels are available.

With over 100 miles of groomed trails, Twin Mountain-Bretton Woods is a snowmobile fanatic’s dream come true!
